Metal roofs can be added to any hen house except our very smallest models. All metal roofs come with insulation that dampens the sound of rain on the roof and provides additional protection from the cold of winter and heat of summer. Dark roof colors will be bit warmer and lighter roof colors will be a little cooler.

There is an upcharge for a metal roof. The price is calcuated based on the size of the roof. See the chicken coop price sheet for standard metal roof pricing.
